About
Gin Kimpark(b.1992, 🇰🇷 ~ 🇳🇱) is a story-to-visual art translator for herself, her friends, and those she has yet to meet. A proponent of phenomenology, she has a deep fascination with mechanical movements.
Gin, who often finds herself with more thoughts than words, is exploring alternative ways to translate these thoughts into a new language of expression. In this journey, she is captivated by the mundane yet profound details of the physical world—everyday phenomena that most might overlook. Gin seeks new perceptions and insights that emerge from familiar sensory experiences. She believes that perceptibility can be expanded through this experimental approach.
Gin's artistic practice focuses on representing physical movements through electrical circuits and programming, exploring the various events that unfold over time as these movements interact with their environment.
